What is concierge pediatric gastroenterology?
Concierge pediatric GI is a membership-style model where your family has direct, unhurried access to a single board-certified pediatric gastroenterologist. Visits are longer, follow-up is faster, and care is coordinated personally rather than through a call center.
Do you take insurance?
PediGut Health operates as an out-of-network practice. We provide detailed superbills you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement under your out-of-network benefits. Procedures, labs, imaging, and prescriptions are billed through in-network facilities and pharmacies whenever possible.
Where does Dr. Mendez see patients?
We offer in-home visits across Palm Beach and northern Broward counties, in-office consultations in Boca Raton, and telehealth visits anywhere in Florida.
What ages do you treat?
Dr. Mendez cares for infants, children, and teens, and supports transition planning for young adults moving into adult GI care.
How fast can my child be seen?
Most new families are seen within days, not months. Concierge members typically get same-day or next-day access for urgent concerns.
Do I need a referral?
No referral is required to schedule with PediGut Health. If you would like us to coordinate with your pediatrician, we are happy to do so.
Where are procedures performed?
Endoscopy, colonoscopy, and related procedures are performed at partnered accredited pediatric facilities with dedicated pediatric anesthesia teams. Dr. Mendez personally performs each procedure.
What is included in concierge membership?
Membership includes extended visits, direct messaging access, expedited scheduling, care coordination, and ongoing nutritional and behavioral guidance. Specific inclusions are outlined on the Concierge Membership page.
